Platform notes
We developed this game on Windows and we're crossing our fingers that the Mac and Linux builds run well. Unfortunately, we're unable to test or further support our Mac or Linux builds after release.
Resolution notes
If you are having screen resolution problems, you can manually change your video settings. Go to your Tall Bagel folder and open this file with a text editor:
tallbagel/base/settings.json

perfectly distills the experience of awkward messy people trying in vain to put on appearances for folks the world calls "successful and well-adjusted"
(also congratulations!)

the resolution of my game was fucked up?
Head to the file tallbagel/base/settings.json -- adjust the resolution there and you should be able to make it fit your screen. If the menu buttons are visible on the game start screen you can also navigate to the settings file there.
i found the file, it is un-editable
It's a JSON file, so you'll have to open it in a text editor specifically. If you're on windows, right-click it, choose "open with," and select a text editor like Notepad. (Notepad is better than Microsoft Word here.) Once you get in there, you'll see some lines that look like this:
"screenwidth": 1920,
"screenheight": 1080,
Change those numbers to the resolution you'd like the game to be. Then save the file. Make sure to retain its .json suffix.
This whole game reminds me of the jar jar binks scene on tatoonie. But this time I'm jar jar binks... This is a horror game. D:
But honestly: Very good execution and nice idea!
Hi. I am playing on a windows PC. When I play, the left half is cut off. Please help
Same issue here :')
Hey folks, head to the file tallbagel/base/settings.json and adjust the resolution there and you should be able to make it fit your screen. If the menu buttons are visible on the game start screen you can also navigate to the settings file there.
Thank you!
Yeah...I changed it to my resolution and the title page is gone now. I just see the background. I have a UHD computer.
A wonderful conversation with a quintet of colourful, unique characters. These people have lots to say about the most relevant and poignant topics of our time. No politics, though!
Surely this game will become a hidden gem in narrative through gameplay, with great potential for genres like drama, comedy, and comedy-drama!
To an uneventful 2021!
Gives me error on Linux: "Bad script call: spawn waterglass 31.3 - 40 33.7"
I get this too, in Win 10.
Hi Oreolek & Henke -- we just uploaded a fix that should resolve those crashes. The new build is now live.
