The Brigand's Story is a spooky interactive short story adapted from a nonsense tale that I and my friends used to tell as children.

Read The Brigand's Story online here.

The Brigand's Story was written in Twine. You can find Twine here. The Mac and PC builds of the game were made with Twine App Builder.

You may also download the source Twine files for this story here on this page. The download contains the twine 1.4.2 version of the game, and a copy of brigandsstory.html which you can open in the web browser of your choice.

Happy Halloween. I hope the end of your 2016 feels less like a cyclical nightmare than Antonio's does.

I saw this on tumblr, played it once, and spent two years trying desperately to remember the name so I could play it again. I'm so glad to have found it so now I can force all my friends to actually play the game I've been fumblingly describing for years. Thank you!
